July 12th - Rained out

Hi all,

We've been watching the radar on TV and it looks like we have a good chance
of getting some heavy rain in the next hour or 2, so we're calling off the
time trial tonite. Hope this message gets to all of you before you leave for
the starting line.

June 28th, Due to the closing of Otsego County Route 48 after the flooding of Tuesday night and Wednesday there was no Time Trial held Wednesday evening. June 2006 we had 316% of a "normal" June's rainfall.

June 14th, A day with off and on rain that finally quit about 4:30 PM. Some of the course was still wet in the shade of the trees. Very little wind, humid and about 65 degrees.

The photos below were taken on May 10, 2006 at the turn around point on the course.

I tried to get a photo of everyone at the turn but my photo of Neal didn't include his head so I'm not going to put it on the WWW.

Here's what the Time Trialists were seeing as they approached me. Some arrows in the road marking the turn around point which is marked by an X in the middle of the road. You can see that they are taking that moment of slowing down to catch their breath before heading back.
